Rogue River Fishing Conditions

Rogue River Fishing Conditions have been hit or miss.  We’ve had some days where it’s good and some days where nobody is catching anything.  Every day is different – but every day brings new into the bay.  Though the winds haven’t helped much, we’re still able to pull in some great fish!!

But when the winds die down…it has been FUN FUN FUN!!  A couple 30+ lb’ers and several fish between 20 and 30 lbs.  Pictures from the last week of some of the fish YOU COULD BE CATCHING are posted below!!

Every day is different here, but there are always fish in the bay.  We’re catching them on anchovies and/or sardines, as well as straight spinners – green and gold (or any combination there of seems to be the choice of all successful fishing).  Like most places:  ANY color is good as long as it’s green! (or gold…).    This is a river where experience counts – most people aren’t going to come here and be successful on their own without learning when and where these fish tend to congregate, and the best techniques to target them:  if you’re thinking about coming down on your own – hire a guide for a day to show you how to be successful – you’ll be MUCH happier in the long run.

If you’re thinking of booking a trip with us – be sure and call SOON – dates are filling up VERY quickly and if you want a chance at some of the best tasting and best fighting Kings ANYWHERE – now is the time!!  These fish will give you everything you want in a fight – that much I can assure you.
