Rogue River Fishing Conditions 4/23/2015

Went out early with 2 riders.  Had a total of 4 take-downs – 3 on spinner bait and 1 on a straight spinner.  But they were fighters today and we only got to net 1 – about a 20 lb wild fish which was immediately released.  Boat next to us netted 2 keepers in the 15 lb range.  Another boat netted a 14 lb’er.  Those 3 fish were all caught on straight bait.

All in all – for spring fishing – it was a lot of fun!  Action going on pretty much daily right now – not a ton of action, but several boats are seeing at least a little action.
