Rogue River Salmon Fishing 5-7-2020 (Rogue River Salmon Fishing)

‘Sup fisherpeople?!

Just for an update: so, if the state of Oregon opens for commerce, we will be commencing fishing while following all state determined guidelines. That means facemasks and no mixed groups (all must be from same household). Bring your own food/drinks, facemasks, hand sanitizer. I ordered disposable masks, but they won’t be here until middle of June. You will be asked if you are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID19. Anyone showing any symptoms will NOT be allowed on my boat.

Fishing will begin tentatively on May 15th, which is currently open for booking. I do have a lot of open dates, but if you’re looking to break out and go fishing, give me a call and we’ll see if we can hook you up (yes, I know, I kill me sometimes).

For the record, fishing has been picking up as of late, after a slow beginning to the season. I wouldn’t say it’s hot hot fishing right now (springers rarely are hot hot), but with the rains that are coming, and the low water conditions, there may be days of pretty good fishing (we can hope). I’ve installed a new mount on my Panoptix to incorporate the “Perspective view” which I’m testing tomorrow. Really looks promising though 🙂
